Gavin Frisby President "My name is Gavin Frisby and I'm your 2023-2024 president. I wanted to be in FFA because I was really interested in agriculture after I took a couple of classes in Jr high. I always really loved animals and the land and I thought it would be a great idea to join FFA because there were a lot of opportunities to work with both of those things. As your president I want to make everyone feel welcome and like they belong here. You're more able to learn and enjoy the things you do when you enjoy the company you are in. Things you need to know about him are: 1: I love being in the mountains, camping, hunting, fishing and everything outdoors. 2: I'm the youngest child in my family Gavin is super funny, you can't be around him and not laugh. He is kind and you can always talk to him! Makell Heaton SEcretary "My name is Makell Heaton I am a senior and I will be your Secretary for the 2023-2024 school year. Growing up my family has always been very involved in agriculture. My family has a farm that has been in the family for 4 generations. My love for agriculture came from watching my grandpa farm and do the things he loved! I have been in FFA since my freshman year in high school and I wanted to join FFA because growing up I have heard my grandpa, mom, uncles, cousins, and sister talk about their experiences in FFA which always sounded so fun to me. Another reason was because I wanted to help people understand why agriculture is so important in everyone’s life whether they come from a farm or not. A goal I have for this year while I’m an officer is to get out of my comfort zone more by trying new things and to be better at inviting our members to activities. Some fun facts about me is I have been raising and showing livestock animals with my cousins and sisters for the past nine years. I’ve raised pigs, steers, and goats which has become my favorite thing to do! I also love doing landscape photography and taking pictures of sunsets and anything around the farm. I absolutely love spending time outside with friends and family doing the things I love! I am so excited to serve as your Secretary for the 2023-2024 school year! It’s gonna be a great year!" |
Kenzie Christensen Treasurer "I am the 2023-2024 Treasurer! I joined FFA mainly because my family has been a part of FFA for a long time and also because of my Ag science class and all my friends. This year I want our school to compete and win! The competitions are really fun there are a million different things to try depending on what you like to do and I love to win so this is the year! I raised a show lamb this winter and I play Tennis for our high school team! I can’t wait for this upcoming year it will be a blast!" Jaivri Shuler Student advisor Jaivri is a lot of fun. He plays guitar and he is always willing to help out with anything. "I joined FFA because I get to learn something new when I talk to others, the people in FFA really make me feel like I have people to talk to and not have to be alone! My goals are to teach and be there for others when they don’t have anyone to talk to. I want to go to college one day and graduate with a bachelor’s in medicine or business, what I plan to do as an officer is to make sure everyone is included and having fun! Because everyone deserves to have a friend." |
Jentry Daybell Vice President "I joined FFA because there are always fun activities and great people! I feel that learning more about agriculture as a group is the best way to educate future leaders. My goal is for all members of FFA, by the end of the year, to feel they are part of something that is unified and working to make a difference in the agricultural world. I love breakaway roping and riding horses in the mountains. This year is going to be unforgettable with fun worthwhile activities! I am excited to make this year remarkable." Sam Jackson Reporter Sam has a super fun personality and is a ton of fun to be around. She is super good at keeping things organized as well as planning! "Hey! My goal this year is to work a lot and do well in school. A long with getting into a good college. Two facts about myself are, I enjoy raising pigs, and hikes are one of my favorite things to do in the early morning." John Ginter student advisor "Hi, I’m John. I am the student advisor over the animal lab. I love to ski and garden. I can be shy at first but I eventually open up.
